LONGi Hi-MO X10 Scientist 650W Bifacial Solar Panel (LR7-72HVH)
The flagship that puts more power behind every square metre.
Meet the panel that earns its “Scientist” name. The LONGi Hi-MO X10 Scientist (LR7-72HVH) is LONGi’s top-tier N-type module, engineered for installers who refuse to compromise on yield. With 650W of nominal output and a striking 23.88% efficiency, it sits near the very top of mass-production silicon panels available today roughly 30W ahead of a comparable conventional 144-cell M10 module.
What’s hiding behind that clean black face
Look closely and you’ll notice something missing: the silver gridlines. That’s no accident. Three technologies work together under the glass:
HPBC 2.0 — Second-generation hybrid passivated back contact moves every electrical connection to the rear of the cell. Nothing on the front shades the silicon, so more light becomes more power.
N-TaiRay — An N-type wafer built with LONGi’s TaiRay coating process. Translation: lower light-induced degradation than P-type cells, and noticeably better behaviour once the mercury climbs past 25°C.
0BB (Zero Busbar) — Conventional busbars give way to finer interconnect wires, delivering more uniform current collection, less cell-to-cell variability, and that signature uninterrupted panel face.
Built to perform when conditions aren’t perfect
Real roofs have chimneys, vents, and neighbouring rows that cast shadows. The Hi-MO X10’s A+ anti-shading rating means a shadow on one cell hurts that cell not the whole string. The unshaded cells keep right on producing. Add a hotspot-resistant layout and reduced micro-crack risk under thermal cycling, and you’ve got a module engineered to keep its promises for decades.
And because it’s bifacial, the back side captures light reflected off the surface below adding 5–15% extra yield on light-coloured ground-mounts and flat commercial roofs where rear-side light is genuinely available.

Backed for the long haul
LONGi stands behind the X10 with a 15-year product warranty on materials and workmanship and a 30-year linear power-output warranty meaning they expect this panel to be delivering measurable, meaningful output three decades from installation.
Is it right for your project?
The Hi-MO X10 is built for installs where watts-per-square-metre is king: commercial rooftops, ground-mount utility arrays where the bifacial back side earns its keep, and roof-constrained residential systems that demand maximum yield from limited space.
Straight talk: if you’ve got abundant roof space and price-per-watt is your only metric, a lower-tier mono module will cost less. But when every square metre has to work harder this is the panel that delivers.
