BLUETTI AC180P Portable Power Station: 1,800W, 1,440Wh

The BLUETTI AC180P is a 1,440Wh LiFePO₄ portable power station with 1,800W of pure sine wave output, two 230V AC outlets and 500W solar input. Turbo charging takes it from 0 to 80% in about 45 minutes, making it a practical choice for NZ camping, campervans and home backup.

Key Features and Benefits

1,800W output with 2,700W Power Lifting Mode

The pure sine wave inverter delivers 1,800W continuous, enough for laptops, TVs, lights, routers, fans, small kitchen appliances and power tools. Power Lifting Mode runs resistive heating devices rated up to 2,700W, such as hair dryers, space heaters and electric blankets.

1,440Wh LiFePO₄ battery

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells are rated for 3,500+ cycles to 80% of original capacity, so the AC180P holds up to years of regular use. The built-in battery management system protects against overcharging, overheating and short circuits.

0–80% in about 45 minutes

Turbo Charging draws up to 1,440W from a standard wall socket for a full charge in roughly 1.3 to 1.8 hours. Standard mode (about 1,000W) and a quiet 45dB Silent mode (260W) are available through the BLUETTI app.

Solar charging up to 500W

Connect solar panels with MC4 connectors (12–60V open circuit voltage, 500W max). With ideal sun, 500W of panels charges the AC180P in about 2.8 to 3.3 hours.

Ten outputs for every device

Power everything at once through 230V AC outlets, a 100W USB-C port, four USB-A ports, a regulated 12V/10A car outlet and a 15W wireless charging pad for your phone.

Pass-through charging and app control

Run devices while the AC180P charges. Monitor battery level, switch charging modes and control outputs from the BLUETTI app over Bluetooth.

Who Is the AC180P For in New Zealand?

  • Camping and road trips: run lights, fans, a portable fridge and charge phones and cameras at freedom camping spots and DOC campsites.
  • Campervans and caravans: top up quickly at a powered site, then charge from solar or your vehicle’s 12V socket on the road.
  • Home backup: keep the modem, lights, phones, laptops and TV running during storm-related power cuts.
  • Tradies and remote work: run tools and chargers on sites without mains power.

The AC180P is not waterproof and must be kept upright during storage and transport. It can’t be charged below 0°C, so bring it indoors before recharging on frosty mornings.

Need something lighter? See the BLUETTI AC70P (1,000W, 864Wh). Need more capacity? Compare the BLUETTI AC200PL (2,400W, 2,304Wh) or the Apex 300.

How Long Will the AC180P Run My Devices?

BLUETTI’s runtime formula is: 1,440Wh × 90% depth of discharge × 85% inverter efficiency ÷ (device power + 15W self-consumption). That gives about 1,100Wh of usable AC energy.

Continuous AC load Estimated runtime
50W (lights, modem, phone charging) About 17 hours
100W (laptop and TV) About 9.5 hours
300W (small appliances) About 3.5 hours
1,000W (power tools, microwave) About 1.1 hours

Estimates are for reference only. The formula doesn’t apply to appliances with compressors, such as fridges and air conditioners, whose power draw cycles on and off.
