BLUETTI AC70P Portable Power Station: 1,000W, 864Wh
The BLUETTI AC70P is an 864Wh LiFePO₄ portable power station with 1,000W of pure sine wave output and two 230V AC outlets. Weighing 10.2kg, it charges from 0 to 80% in about 45 minutes and takes up to 500W of solar, suiting NZ camping, campervans and home backup.
Key Features and Benefits
1,000W output with 2,000W Power Lifting Mode
The pure sine wave inverter delivers 1,000W continuous, enough for laptops, TVs, a portable fridge, fans, lights, a rice cooker or a small coffee machine. Power Lifting Mode runs resistive heating appliances rated up to 2,000W, such as kettles, hair dryers, electric grills and space heaters.
864Wh LiFePO₄ battery
Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells are rated for 3,000+ cycles to 80% of original capacity. The battery management system protects against overcharging, overheating and short circuits.
0–80% in about 45 minutes
950W Turbo Charging, enabled in the BLUETTI app, charges the AC70P from a standard wall socket to 80% in about 45 minutes and fully in about 1.3 to 1.6 hours. A quiet 45dB Silent mode is also available for overnight charging.
Solar charging up to 500W
Connect up to 500W of solar panels with MC4 connectors (12–58V open circuit voltage). In ideal sun, 500W of panels charges the AC70P in about 2.8 to 3.3 hours.
Seven outputs in a compact body
Power multiple devices through two 230V AC outlets, two 100W USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a regulated 12V/10A car outlet and a 15W wireless charging pad.
Power Bank Mode for longer trips
Extend your runtime by recharging the AC70P from a BLUETTI B80P (806Wh), B230 (2,048Wh) or B300 (3,072Wh) battery in Power Bank Mode.
Many ways to recharge
Charge from a wall socket, solar panels, your vehicle’s 12/24V socket, a generator or a LiFePO₄ battery. Pass-through charging lets you run devices while it charges, and the BLUETTI app (via Bluetooth) lets you monitor and control it from your phone.
Who Is the AC70P For in New Zealand?
- Camping and road trips: run a car fridge, lights and a fan, and charge phones, cameras and drones at DOC campsites and freedom camping spots.
- Campervans and 4WD touring: recharge from the vehicle’s 12V socket while driving, or from a portable solar panel at camp.
- Home backup: keep the modem, lights, phones, laptop and TV running during power cuts.
- Remote work and events: power laptops, projectors and small appliances wherever there’s no socket.
The AC70P is not waterproof and must be kept upright. It can’t be charged below 0°C, so bring it inside before recharging on frosty mornings.
Need more power? Compare the BLUETTI AC180P (1,800W, 1,440Wh) or the AC200PL (2,400W, 2,304Wh). Need something smaller? See the BLUETTI EB3A (600W, 268Wh).

Warranty and Support in New Zealand
The AC70P comes with a 5-year BLUETTI warranty. Your purchase is also covered by your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. For help choosing solar panels, checking what your appliances will run or making a warranty claim, contact the Cybotix Energy team.
What appliances can the BLUETTI AC70P run?
The AC70P runs appliances with a combined draw of up to 1,000W, such as laptops, TVs, fans, lights, portable fridges and rice cookers. Power Lifting Mode runs resistive heating appliances rated up to 2,000W, including kettles, hair dryers and electric grills. Many NZ kettles are rated at 2,200W or more, so check the label first. Don’t use it for air conditioners or washing machines.
How long will the AC70P run my devices?
Based on BLUETTI’s figures, a full AC70P runs a 65W TV for about 10 hours, a 75W fan for about 8.8 hours, a 200W rice cooker for about 3.3 hours, or a 350W space heater for about 1.9 hours. It can also recharge a 70Wh laptop about 9 times. Actual runtime depends on your device’s real power draw.
How fast does the AC70P charge?
With 950W Turbo Charging enabled in the BLUETTI app, the AC70P charges from 0 to 80% in about 45 minutes and fully in about 1.3 to 1.6 hours from a standard wall socket. From 500W of solar, it takes about 2.8 to 3.3 hours in ideal conditions. A 12V car socket takes about 9 to 9.6 hours.
What solar panels work with the BLUETTI AC70P?
The AC70P accepts up to 500W of solar from panels with MC4 connectors and a total open circuit voltage of 12 to 58V. BLUETTI recommends one PV350 or PV420 panel, or two PV200 or PV120 panels. Charge times in New Zealand vary with season, location and panel angle, so expect slower charging in winter.
Can I expand the AC70P’s battery capacity?
The AC70P doesn’t take expansion batteries directly, but it supports Power Bank Mode with the BLUETTI B80P (806Wh), B230 (2,048Wh) and B300 (3,072Wh). In this mode, the battery recharges the AC70P, giving you more total energy for longer trips. It’s a practical way to add capacity for multi-day camping.
What’s the difference between the BLUETTI AC70 and AC70P?
The AC70P has a larger 864Wh battery, compared with 768Wh in the standard AC70. Otherwise the two are almost identical, with the same 1,000W output, 2,000W Power Lifting Mode, 950W Turbo Charging, 500W solar input, 3,000+ cycle LiFePO₄ battery and 10.2kg weight. The AC70P gives you about 12% more runtime.
Can I use or charge the AC70P in cold New Zealand weather?
You can use the AC70P to power devices down to -20°C, but you can’t charge it below 0°C. When camping in winter or on frosty mornings in the South Island, bring it into a tent, vehicle or building to warm up before recharging. Keep it upright and dry, since it isn’t waterproof.
What warranty does the BLUETTI AC70P have in NZ?
The BLUETTI AC70P comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty. In New Zealand, your purchase is also covered by your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If you have a problem with your power station, contact Cybotix Energy and our team will help you with troubleshooting or a warranty claim.
