BLUETTI Apex 300: 3,840W Home Backup Power Station with 2,764.8Wh

The BLUETTI Apex 300 is a 2,764.8Wh LiFePO₄ home backup power station with 3,840W of 230V pure sine wave output and 7,680W lifting power. It takes up to 2,400W of solar, runs as a UPS, and scales to 58kWh across three units, for NZ homes, lifestyle blocks and off-grid properties.

Key Features and Benefits

3,840W of 230V output

The pure sine wave inverter delivers 3,840W continuous, with each AC outlet rated up to 15A. That’s enough to run a fridge-freezer, heat pump, oven element, water pump or workshop tools alongside everyday electronics. Lifting power of 7,680W helps with the start-up surge of heavier appliances.

Modular capacity that grows with you

Start with the built-in 2,764.8Wh battery and add up to six BLUETTI B300K, B300S or B300 batteries per unit, reaching 19,353.6Wh. Connect up to three Apex 300 units in parallel with the BLUETTI Hub A1 for 11,520W of output and 58kWh of storage.

LiFePO₄ battery rated for 6,000+ cycles

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells are rated for 6,000+ cycles to 80% of original capacity, making the Apex 300 suited to daily solar cycling as well as emergency backup.

Up to 2,400W of direct solar input

Two XT60 solar inputs each accept up to 1,200W (12–60V, 20A), for 2,400W total. Add the BLUETTI SolarX 4K and at least one B300K to connect high-voltage panel strings for up to 6,400W of total solar input.

Fast AC charging

Charge from a standard NZ 10A wall socket at up to 2,300W, or from a 15A socket at up to 3,450W. With AC and solar combined, the Apex 300 accepts up to 3,840W, or 6,240W when paired with B300K batteries.

UPS backup and black start

UPS function keeps connected appliances running when the grid drops. Black start lets the Apex 300 restart from solar power alone, even after the battery has been fully drained.

50A AC input/output port

The P050A port (230V, 50A) supports higher-power connections for home backup setups. Connecting it to your home’s wiring is prescribed electrical work in NZ and must be done by a licensed electrician.

Smart app control

Monitor energy use, set charging modes and update firmware through the BLUETTI app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Who Is the Apex 300 For in New Zealand?

  • Home backup: keep the fridge, freezer, lights, internet, heat pump and water pump running through storm-related outages.
  • Solar homeowners: store daytime solar energy for evening use and cut your power bill.
  • Lifestyle blocks and rural properties: back up water pumps and essential circuits where outages can last days.
  • Off-grid homes, baches and cabins: build a complete solar-battery system that scales as your needs grow.
  • Large RVs and workshops: run high-draw tools and appliances without a petrol generator.

At 38kg, the Apex 300 is built for fixed or semi-permanent installation. Install it indoors or in a dry, sheltered space, keep it upright, and note that it can’t be charged below 0°C.

Configuration Total capacity Max AC output
Apex 300 on its own 2,764.8Wh 3,840W
Apex 300 + 1 × B300K 5,529.6Wh 3,840W
Apex 300 + 6 × B300K 19,353.6Wh 3,840W
Apex 300 + 6 × B500K 33,484.8Wh 3,840W
3 × Apex 300 + 18 × B300K (with Hub A1) 58,060.8Wh 11,520W
3 × Apex 300 + 18 × B500K (with Hub A1) Over 100kWh 11,520W

How Long Will the Apex 300 Run My Appliances?

As a guide, the built-in battery provides roughly 2,200Wh of usable AC energy, allowing for depth of discharge and inverter losses.

Continuous AC load Estimated runtime (Apex 300 alone)
100W (modem, lights, phone charging) About 22 hours
500W (fridge-freezer average, TV, lights) About 4.5 hours
1,000W (microwave, small heater) About 2.2 hours
3,000W (oven element, large tools) About 45 minutes

Estimates are for reference only. Fridges, freezers and heat pumps cycle on and off, so their real runtime varies. Each B300K adds roughly the same runtime again.

Warranty and Support in New Zealand

The Apex 300 comes with a 5-year BLUETTI warranty. Your purchase is also covered by your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. For help designing a home backup or off-grid system, choosing expansion batteries and solar panels, or making a warranty claim, contact the Cybotix Energy team.

How long will the BLUETTI Apex 300 power my home?

It depends on what you run. The built-in 2,764.8Wh battery gives roughly 2,200Wh of usable energy, enough to run a 100W load for about 22 hours or a 1,000W load for about 2 hours. Adding B300K batteries extends this: six B300K packs give over 19kWh, enough for multi-day backup of household essentials.

Can the Apex 300 work as a UPS for my home?

Yes, the Apex 300 has a UPS function that switches connected appliances to battery power when the grid goes down. For whole-home or circuit-level backup through its 50A P050A port, the connection to your home’s wiring is prescribed electrical work in New Zealand and must be installed by a licensed electrician.

How fast does the Apex 300 charge from a NZ wall socket?

From a standard NZ 10A wall socket, the Apex 300 charges at up to 2,300W. From a 15A socket, it can draw up to 3,450W for faster charging. Combining AC and solar lifts total input to 3,840W, or 6,240W with B300K batteries connected, which is useful for recharging quickly between outages.

How much solar can I connect to the Apex 300?

The Apex 300 accepts up to 2,400W of solar directly, through two XT60 inputs rated at 1,200W each (12–60V, 20A). With the BLUETTI SolarX 4K and at least one B300K, total solar input rises to 6,400W, allowing high-voltage panel strings. An MC4 to XT60 cable is required and sold separately.

How many expansion batteries can I add to the Apex 300?

Each Apex 300 supports up to six B300K, B300S or B300 expansion batteries. Six B300K packs take a single unit to 19,353.6Wh. The Apex 300 is also compatible with the larger 5,120Wh B500K, and six B500K packs give 33,484.8Wh. Batteries can be added over time as your needs grow.

Can I connect multiple Apex 300 units together?

Yes, you can connect up to three Apex 300 units in parallel using the BLUETTI Hub A1. A three-unit system delivers up to 11,520W of AC output. With 18 B300K batteries, total storage reaches 58,060.8Wh, and with 18 B500K batteries it exceeds 100kWh, enough for whole-home or small-business backup.

Where should I install the Apex 300?

Install the Apex 300 indoors or in a dry, sheltered space such as a garage, laundry or utility room, on a level surface where it can stay upright. It weighs about 38kg, so plan its position before you set it up. It can’t be charged below 0°C, so avoid unheated spaces in colder parts of New Zealand.

What warranty does the BLUETTI Apex 300 have in NZ?

The BLUETTI Apex 300 comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty. In New Zealand, your purchase is also covered by your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If you have a problem with your power station or expansion batteries, contact Cybotix Energy and our team will help with troubleshooting or a warranty claim.
