BLUETTI B80 / B80P Expansion Battery: 806Wh, IP65
The BLUETTI B80 / B80P is an 806Wh LiFePO₄ battery that expands the AC60 or AC60P and recharges the AC70P, AC180P and EB-series in Power Bank Mode. With IP65 water and dust resistance, a 100W USB-C port and a 12V/10A outlet, it also works on its own for NZ camping and campervans.
Key Features and Benefits
Expansion battery for the AC60 and AC60P
Connect up to two packs to more than triple your capacity. Two B80 batteries take an AC60 from 403Wh to 2,015Wh, and two B80P batteries take an AC60P from 504Wh to 2,116Wh.
Power Bank Mode for other BLUETTI stations
Use the B80 / B80P to recharge a BLUETTI AC70P, AC180P, EB3A, EB55 or EB70, giving you 806Wh of extra stored energy for longer trips. A connection cable is sold separately.
A standalone DC power source
With no power station connected, the B80 / B80P delivers DC power through a 100W USB-C port, an 18W USB-A port and a regulated 12V/10A car outlet. According to BLUETTI, one full charge can recharge a smartphone about 43 times or a laptop about 10 times, or run a small light for over 60 hours.
IP65 dust and water resistance
The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, so the B80 / B80P can handle rain showers and dusty campsites. It is water-resistant, not waterproof, so don’t submerge it.
LiFePO₄ cells rated for 3,000+ cycles
Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells are rated for 3,000+ cycles to 80% of original capacity. A built-in MPPT solar controller and battery management system protect the cells during charging and discharging.
Four ways to recharge
Charge it through a connected AC60 or AC60P, or on its own from a 200W AC adapter, up to 200W of solar panels, or a 12/24V car socket. Pass-through charging lets you run devices while it charges.

Who Is the B80 / B80P For in New Zealand?
- Camping and road trips: run a 12V car fridge, lights and a fan, and keep phones, cameras and laptops charged at DOC campsites and freedom camping spots.
- Campervans and 4WD touring: recharge from your vehicle’s 12V or 24V socket while driving.
- AC70P and AC180P owners: add 806Wh of backup energy without buying a bigger power station.
- Emergency backup: keep your modem, phone and lights running during power cuts.
At 9.9kg with a built-in handle, the B80 / B80P is easy to move between the house, car and campsite. It can’t be charged below 0°C, so bring it inside to warm up before recharging on frosty mornings.

What’s the difference between the BLUETTI B80 and B80P?
The B80 and B80P are the same 806Wh LiFePO₄ battery design, with the same outputs, 200W solar and AC inputs, IP65 rating and 6-year warranty. The difference is pairing: the B80 is the companion battery for the AC60, and the B80P is the companion battery for the newer AC60P. Both work in Power Bank Mode with other BLUETTI stations.
Which BLUETTI power stations work with the B80 / B80P?
The B80 / B80P connects directly as an expansion battery to the AC60 and AC60P, up to two packs each. In Power Bank Mode, it can recharge the AC70P, AC180P, EB3A, EB55, EB70 and EB70S. Power Bank Mode needs an Aviation to DC7909 cable, or an Aviation to XT60 cable for the EB55, sold separately.
Can I use the B80P with my AC70P or AC180P?
Yes, the B80P works with the AC70P and AC180P in Power Bank Mode. In this mode, it recharges the power station rather than connecting as a direct expansion battery, adding 806Wh of stored energy for longer trips. You’ll need the correct connection cable, which is sold separately. Contact us to confirm the cable for your model.
Can I use the B80 / B80P on its own?
Yes, the B80 / B80P works as a standalone DC power source. It has a 100W USB-C port for laptops, an 18W USB-A port for phones and a regulated 12V/10A car outlet for car fridges and lights. According to BLUETTI, a full charge recharges a phone about 43 times or a laptop about 10 times. It has no 230V AC outlets.
How do I charge the B80 / B80P without a power station?
You can charge it on its own from a 200W AC adapter, which takes about 4.5 to 5 hours, from up to 200W of solar panels, or from your car’s 12V or 24V socket. The AC adapter is sold separately. The BLUETTI D050S DC Charging Enhancer is not compatible with the B80 / B80P.
What solar panels can I use with the B80 / B80P?
Use panels with MC4 connectors, up to 200W in total, with an open circuit voltage between 12 and 28V. BLUETTI recommends one PV200 (about 4.5 to 5 hours) or one PV120 (about 7.2 to 7.7 hours). Don’t connect two panels in series, because the combined voltage can exceed 28V. Most full-size rooftop panels are also above this voltage limit.
Is the B80 / B80P waterproof?
No, the B80 / B80P isn’t waterproof, but it is IP65 rated. That means it’s fully protected against dust and can handle low-pressure water jets from any direction, such as rain showers at camp. Don’t submerge it or leave it sitting in water, and avoid storing it in damp conditions for long periods.
What warranty does the BLUETTI B80 / B80P have in NZ?
The BLUETTI B80 / B80P comes with a 6-year manufacturer warranty. In New Zealand, your purchase is also covered by your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If you have a problem with your battery, contact Cybotix Energy and our team will help you with troubleshooting or a warranty claim.
