The BLUETTI B300K is a 2,764.8Wh LiFePO₄ expansion battery for the Apex 300, AC500, AC300, AC200L and AC200MAX. Stack up to six per Apex 300 or AC500 to build a large home backup system. It also has a USB-A port for charging phones on its own, and suits NZ homes, RVs and off-grid setups.

Prismatic LiFePO₄ cells, AI-BMS battery management, a sturdy aluminium casing, wireless internal design and a cooling fan keep the B300K stable during long, heavy discharges. It reserves a small amount of charge to prevent over-discharging and protect battery life.
USB-A port for standalone use
A 12W USB-A port lets you charge a phone, tablet or small fan directly from the B300K, even when it isn’t connected to a power station.

The B300K weighs 29.5kg and is not waterproof, so install it in a dry, sheltered space. It can’t be charged below 0°C. After a full discharge, recharge it promptly, and let it sit somewhere at 10°C or above for 12 hours first.

Which BLUETTI power stations is the B300K compatible with?
The B300K is compatible with the BLUETTI Apex 300, AC500, AC300, AC200L and AC200MAX. The AC200L and AC200MAX connect with a P090D cable, and the AC300 with a P090A cable. The AC500 needs a P150D to P090A cable, sold separately. It isn’t compatible with the Elite, EB or AC180 series.
How many B300K batteries can I connect to the Apex 300?
Each Apex 300 supports up to six B300K batteries, for a total of 19,353.6Wh. If you connect three Apex 300 units in parallel using the BLUETTI Hub A1, you can add 18 B300K batteries for 58,060.8Wh of storage, enough for extended whole-home backup. You can add packs one at a time as your needs grow.
How many B300K batteries can I connect to the AC300 or AC500?
The AC300 supports up to four B300K batteries, giving 11,059.2Wh. The AC500 supports up to six B300K batteries, giving 16,588.8Wh. If your AC500 setup includes a B300, the maximum drops to four packs in total. The AC500 requires a P150D to P090A cable, sold separately.
How many B300K batteries can I connect to the AC200L or AC200MAX?
Both the AC200L and AC200MAX support up to two B300K batteries, for a total of 7,577.6Wh. They connect with the P090D cable. The AC200L can only mix the B300K with B300 batteries, while the AC200MAX can connect a B300K to one expansion port and a B230 or B210 to the other.
Can I use or charge the B300K on its own?
You can use the B300K on its own to charge small devices through its 12W USB-A port, but it has no AC outlets or high-power DC outputs. It can only be charged through a compatible BLUETTI power station, and it doesn’t support Power Bank Mode. For standalone DC power, consider the B230 or B500K instead.
Can I mix the B300K with B300 or B300S batteries?
Yes, with limits that depend on your power station. The AC500 and Apex 300 can mix B300K, B300 and B300S packs. The AC300 can mix B300K with B300, but not with B300S at the same time. The AC200L can mix B300K with B300 only. Always check the maximum number of packs for your station.
Should I choose the B300K or the B500K?
Choose the B500K if you want the most capacity per pack: it stores 5,120Wh, nearly double the B300K’s 2,764.8Wh. Choose the B300K if weight and size matter more, since it weighs 29.5kg compared with 45kg for the B500K. Both work with the Apex 300, AC500, AC300, AC200L and AC200MAX.
What warranty does the BLUETTI B300K have in NZ?
The BLUETTI B300K comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty, with an extra year added when you register it on BLUETTI’s website after delivery.
